Serrano Glassner: “Even when the days are darkest, Passover is a time of celebration and hope.”
Mendham, New Jersey — Mendham Mayor Christine Serrano Glassner, one of the leading Republican candidates for U.S. Senate in New Jersey, issued the following statement today to mark the start of the Jewish Feast of Passover:
“Chag sameach! Even when the days are darkest, Passover is a time of celebration and hope. Today, the Jewish people are facing many hardships, including an ongoing war to eliminate the terrorist threat to Israel from Hamas and a sharp spike in anti-Semitism in our country.
“As we prepare to mark the start of Passover this evening, we remember the victims of the brutal Hamas terrorist attacks, as well as the hostages who remain in captivity and the countless victims of anti-Semitism all over the world. On an occasion with such meaning, we join our Jewish friends and family members in praying that He who establishes peace in the heavens grant peace for us, for all Israel, and all of mankind.”
